The WGA focuses on providing small, community-oriented support groups. Our experience in all facets of group creation and continuation began in 1996 with the Bellingham group. Our most recently-added community is Walla Walla, which has been operating since 2014. We would be happy to share our experience with anyone hoping to start a new community group. A group can join with the WGA and the PGI to share the benefits of our organizational structure.
The WGA and its sponsoring agency, the Pacific Gender Institute, have much to offer new groups. We have both the combined knowledge of our members and the legal structure in place to facilitate success. We welcome opportunities to bring new communities and groups into our organization.
